Tides of Change

October 20th, 2009

We amble through this existence
Always perplexed by the course
Thinking we know where it leads
And the purpose we wish to reach
However as it always seems to go
Everything changes, always revolving
Pulling the sheets out from beneath
Calm rarely staying, fleeting
The effect of this change resting
On individuals perceptions, desires
When you learn to let go
Then you feel freedom
From the binds of change
Let go of your worries, your hatred
Trust the flow of the universe
Let go of your material possessions
The strings that pull you down
Expect less from those around you
Giving what little you have left
Only then will the tides of change
Drift past as you enjoy the journey
